Spring has sprung, and the weather is as unpredictable as always in Oklahoma. We are looking forward to some lovely April showers and May flowers to come very soon.

Our Friends' Night has not happened at this writing and we are hoping for a nice turnout. In lieu of gifts, we are bringing items for Rhoades Elementary School that can be used by the teachers. If you did not get to the meeting, you can still bring them and we will see that they are delivered. The items on the Teachers' "wish list" include, but are not limited to: Dry erase markers, family board games (used or new), paper lunch bags, glue sticks, baby wipes, play dough, paper towels, paper cups, grab-it dustcloths, healthy snacks (peanut butter & crackers, crackers, cheese-its, fruit snacks, etc.), kleenex, 35 mm film.

Our Exemplifications have been completed and the last Workshop/School is on April 1 in Edmond. The Workshop/Schools concentrate on the floorwork. The officers get one-on-one instruction from the Grand Officers after which the District Officers open, close, go through introductions, walk through the initiation and practice the Prayer Circle. They have been informative and helpful to many of our members.

We were saddened by the loss of our members: Lucille Lane, Bette Pilcher, Frank Cougler, and Marshall Heim. Also, Fern Cox' husband, Don, passed away recently. I appreciated the calls notifying me of these deaths, so we could contact the families in a timely manner to offer our help. Please keep these families in your prayers as they deal with the loss of their loved ones. If you know of any sickness, distress or deaths, please notify the Chaplain, Joyce Southerland, or the Worthy Matron, Nancy Parker.

Our upcoming activities include:
March 30 - Friends' Night / Easter Bonnet Parade - Open Meeting
(we will be presenting Brother Jack Ross his 50 year pin that night)
April 13 - Obligation Program by Bill Barnes, AGP
April 27 - Honor Night for our GGCCM, Debbie Beard, Visioneer for Oklahoma

May 11 - Stated Meeting, Honor Mothers
May 25 - Stated Meeting

We are planning to join with our Lodge Brothers and Rainbow Girls to have a float and/or march in the Rooster Days Parade on Saturday, May 13. The OES Café will be open on Friday, May 12, & Saturday, May 13, at the Lodge for our annual fundraiser. After the parade, the Lodge room will be set up for a Masonic Open House. We will also have OES information available for those who are interested. Come join us in any or all of these activities.

I have enjoyed the notes and comments from the members about the newsletter. If you have anything you would want to be put in our newsletter, please let me know. This is for the members and I would be most pleased to include additional information.

Until next time we meet - May God watch over you and keep you in His care.

Have a Happy Easter & Mothers Day!
